Type 660Y Automatic Vehicle Barriers

Clarke Instruments Ltd has been approved as a manufacture and installer of turnstiles and vehicle barriers for Corus Steel at their Port Talbot and Trostre sites in South Wales.

Over the last 4-years we have manufactured and installed in excess of 15 automatic barriers, 6 turnstiles, automated gates and a combined turnstile & cycle turnstile.

The main vehicle entrance at the Port Talbot site is fitted with our type 660Y barriers for controlling vehicle entry & exit on & off the site via a PC based card reader control system. The site operates 24/7 and the barriers have been designed for high usage and reliability. Barrier covers are manufactured in heavy gauge aluminium with a powder coated finish to offer the best protection against harsh environments.
