Type 660 Y Automatic Vehicle Barriers

Clarke Instruments Ltd were awarded the contract to manufacture and install automatic vehicle barriers and turnstiles at Westland new entrance Yeovilton.

The barriers were fitted with lower skirts to enhance visability and provided a barrier against pedestrians entering the site under the poles.

The barriers are rated for 100% operation to cope with the busy periods during the morning and evening when staff are finishing their shifts.
