Type 481 Combined Pedestrian & Cycle Turnstile
 
Ø Fitted with a 120º straight bar rotor, electrically unlocked in both directions
Ø 180º Motorised open controlled closed cycle gate

Method of Operation:
Once a trigger from an access control system/push button has been accepted the turnstile will unlock to allow the turnstile rotor to be manually rotated.
This will enable a push switch when pushed to automatically motorise the cycle gate to the open position and hold open.
The dismounted cyclist would then pass through the turnstile pushing the cycle around the curved solid infill rail.
Once the turnstile has completed its rotation it will automatically lock
The gate will remain open for a longer period to allow the cycle to clear the gate and safety photo cells. (The gate open time can be adjusted to suit site conditions)
The gate will automatically mechanically close after the preset time has elapsed and in the closed position the gate is electrically locked.
Both turnstile & gate are failed unlocked in the event of power failure or fire alarm (Via a link from the fire alarm panel)
Both re-lock on power up
